Constructed picture from images taken on the streets of the district of Bastille in central Paris.

The Bastille was a political prison (amongst other things) and represented royal authority. It was stormed on 14 July 1789 and its fall was the flashpoint of the French Revolution. A monument now marks where The Bastille once stood. These works are an acknowledgement of societal shifts, the echos that still linger in that space, the layering of history and my footsteps leaving a mark on wet cobbles, falling into the steps of those left by of generations before.
